university of minnesota online courses

Will donating money to University get me accepted?

I have a 3.789 GPA, took honors courses and Ap courses. The only thing that may screw me over it that in the begining of my junior year, my family and I moved to Germany.. and I had to be online schooled. I want to go to college in the states and want to attend the Carlson School of Mngt (University of Minnesota)
If my parents donate a large sum of money to the school, would be guaranteed and acceptance?

Thanks 10 points for best answer

No. Donations are considered bribes. Also, the college is looking for what you bring to them as an individual and a student. They may be more than happy to take your money and deny you. However, with your high GPA and time abroad, you should not be so nervous as to donate money. This makes them think you are not confident in your abilities as a student. Once you go there, you’ll be giving them money anyway, so donating now is a waste. Save your money, apply just like everyone else, and do not stress that much. Good luck.
